Director Andrea Meyerson returns to Miami with the World Premiere of Laughing Matters… More!, her second film in a proposed series of docu-comedy films. Men, you're next! Building on the runaway success of her 2003 film Laughing Matters, Meyerson sets up the audience for our own special night of OUTrageous comedy as we are given an all-access pass to four of the hottest hilarious lesbian comedians working today; Elvira Kurt (a Toronto native, recently voted “Funniest Female Comic” at the Canadian Comedy Awards) Sabrina Matthews (a self-confessed flannel shirt lover and star of Comedy Central), René Hicks (the first African-American woman nominated for Best Female Stand-up at the American Comedy Awards) and Vickie Shaw (grandmother, mother, lover to Sgt Patch and super funny femme from Texas).

While the strength of Laughing Matters… More! undeniably lies in the on-stage live performances which covers everything from relationships to religions, from shopping to politics, from their mothers to their home life; Meyerson gets up close and personal with one-on-one intimate interviews, and the creation of a round-table discussion area which allow the women to interact and reveal their witty off-stage personas. Chock-full of fresh funny one-liners that are caustically timely and observant, Laughing Matters… More! is a guaranteed laugh out loud sure bet.

Andrea Meyerson has produced concert and stand-up comedy shows in the Los Angeles Area for the past 10 years through her company, StandOut Productions which has brought acts like Roseanne Barr, Kate Clinton and Sophie B. Hawkins to the stage. She made her directorial debut with the feature length documentary, Laughing Matters in 2002 which went on to receive the Best Documentary Award from Outfest, the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Film Festival. The film aired on here! Network and is currently available on DVD from Wolfe Video.
