SUBMISSION DATES FOR THE 10th ANNUAL FESTIVAL

We are now accepting feature length and short submissions for the 10th Annual Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival which will run April 25th- May 4th 2008. The short film submissions deadline is Friday December 21st 2007. Feature length submissions (over 50mins) most be postmarked no later than Friday January 18th, 2008. Please return to this page over the summer for details of the 9th Annual PlanetOut Short Movie Awards 2008. Note the PlanetOut Short Film competition has an earlier deadline.

You can submit your film electronically using MGLFF08/withoutabox please click on the WAB link to be directed to the entry start page or go to http://www.withoutabox.com/login/1242 alternatively you can download the attached PDF and send direct to us. All submissions should be sent to Kareem Tabsch, Festival Manager, MGLFF, 1521 Alton Road #147, Miami Beach, Florida 33139 U.S.A.

We do not charge an entry fee for international submissions.
Preview screeners must be clearly labeled with the title of the work, running time, filmmaker's name, and contact telephone number and email. Please test consumer-burned DVD on several makes and models of players before submitting to our offices. If selected to screen in our line-up, exhibition is in both film (35mm only) or Digi Beta or Beta SP NTSC (we cannot exhibit on Beta PAL formats). If you are submitting a 'work in progress' please ensure that you let us know in advance by emailing kareem@mglff.com and please clearly mark your submission entry 'work in progress'
