Which film did you think was the best? The film with the highest overall average score will take the prize in one of the categories listed below. Vote carefully, your vote does count. We will announce the Audience choices and give out the following prizes at our Closing Night Gala Party at MAS following the screening of Were the World Mine on Sunday May 6th. |
Dennis Williams, HBO Manager Segment Marketing will
present $1,000 to the three winning filmmakers of the
SHOUT LGBT script competition at the Closing Gala
screening on Sunday May 4th. The filmmakers each
received $15,000 in production costs. You can see the
World premieres of the three selected titles on Friday
May 2nd prior to the screening of Tru Loved See page
69 for more details. There are 46 short films across the MGLFF/FLGLFF this year – will you see them all? (NOTE: the PlanetOut Short Movie Award winning films are ineligible for audience voting as they have already been declared winners). The Miami Gay & Lesbian Film

MGLFF/FLGFF Audience Favorite Short sponsored by
HBO will automatically be nominated for this
prestigious competition which will be announced
