If Guy Ritchie ("Snatch") had fallen for Ewan McGregor instead of Madonna, he might have made 9 Dead Gay Guys. But all comparisons aside, first-time feature director Ky Mo Lab has delivered a truly hilarious, over-the-top, button-pusher of a movie that deliberately offends every sacred gay sensibility cow imaginable.

Two good-for-nothing mates, Kenny and Byron, both claiming to be straight, cheerfully give it up for local poofs at a London gay pub in order to earn the dough they need to keep their bellies filled with beer. But along the way they get embroiled in more gay drama then they bargained for. Seems that everybody is after the money of a local homosexual Orthodox Jew nicknamed Goldilocks, who hires rent boys on the basis of his Really Hard Red Bull Test (i.e., - you must be as big as two Red Bull cans stacked together).

The twisted and maniacal plot features a cattle prod as its main murder weapon and star-crossed characters such as The Desperate Dwarf, who is 3 1/2 feet tall and has a 3 1/2" willy; "Dick Cheese" Deepak, a Pakistani cab driver with a foreskin problem; and The Iron Lady, an enormously overweight lesbian bar owner who pimps out Three West African Brothers (all of whom pass Goldilocks' celebrated Really Hard Red Bull Test).

Shot with verve and edited with aplomb, 9 Dead Gay Guys freezes-frames, camera-whips and flash-cuts its way to your funny bone. But for all its crudeness and rudeness, this ain't no "Jackass" for gays - it's actually a gentle, sweet-natured tickler.
