WORLD PREMIERE

The real heroes of the red-hot South Beach club scene are the DJ's and drag divas who can make a crowd of thousands explode with propulsive rhythmic energy. And they are the focus of this deliriously in-depth behind-the-scenes tour of the music, the parties and Miami's very own demimonde. World-famous DJ's Victor Calderone, David Kapp and Danny Tenaglia take us into the booth, sharing what they love about their jobs, deconstructing and demonstrating their awe-inspiring mixing genius. Drag icons Connie Casserole, Power Infinity and Kitty Meow transform themselves before our eyes, and once onstage, let their passion for the club world come bursting forth. It's not all fun and games, though: there's a public hearing at which city leaders attack after-hours venues as hotbeds of drug abuse. Controversies aside, this energetic new film makes one thing clear - for gay men from around the world, South Beach is the place to come and revel in throbbing, sweaty, dance-club freedom. Director Michelle Lindenberger will attend the screening and discuss her film with the audience.
